The Wisconsin Legislative Notification Service (herein after referred to as the "Notify Service") is provided as a public service. THE WISCONSIN LEGISLATURE IS WILLING TO ALLOW YOU TO ACCESS AND USE THE NOTIFY SERVICE ONLY ON THE CONDITION THAT YOU ACCEPT THESE TERMS OF USE. BY REGISTERING FOR, ACCESSING, OR USING THE NOTIFY SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS OF USE. Please read these Terms of Use carefully.

The data and information available through the Notify Service is unverified and unofficial. The printed journals or bills of the respective houses of the Wisconsin Legislature should be consulted for official purposes.

The Wisconsin Legislature reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time without notice. Please check the Terms of Use link on the Notify Service website periodically. Your continued use of the Notify Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Use constitutes acceptance of those changes.

THE LEGISLATURE PROVIDES THE DATA, INFORMATION AND SERVICES AVAILABLE THROUGH THE NOTIFY SERVICE ON AN "AS IS" AND AS AVAILABLE BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND FREEDOM FROM CONTAMINATION BY COMPUTER VIRUSES, AND WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AND TITLE. THE LEGISLATURE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE NOTIFY SERVICE OR DATA, INFORMATION, OR SERVICES AVAILABLE THROUGH THE NOTIFY SERVICE ARE ACCURATE, ADEQUATE, COMPLETE, RELIABLE, TIMELY, OR USEFUL, OR FREE FROM ERROR OR OMISSION; THAT THE NOTIFY SERVICE OR DATA, INFORMATION, OR SERVICES AVAILABLE THROUGH THE NOTIFY SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR AVAILABLE AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME OR LOCATION; THAT ANY DEFECTS OR ERRORS WILL BE CORRECTED; OR THAT THE NOTIFY SERVICE OR DATA, INFORMATION, OR SERVICES AVAILABLE THROUGH THE NOTIFY SERVICE ARE FREE FROM WORMS, VIRUSES, TROJAN HORSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE NOTIFY SERVICE IS SOLELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Changes may be periodically made to the data and information available through the Notify Service; these changes may or may not be incorporated in any new version of the Notify Service. If you have obtained data or information from the Notify Service from a source other than the Notify Service, be aware that electronic data and information can be altered subsequent to original distribution. Data and information can also quickly become out of date.

DISCLAIMER OF DUTY TO CONTINUE PROVISION OF DATA

Due to the dynamic nature of the Internet, resources that are free and publicly available one day may require a fee or restricted access the next, and the location of items may change as menus, homepages, and files are reorganized. The Legislature does not warrant that the Notify Service will be uninterrupted or error free. The documents and related graphics provided through the Notify Service could contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. Changes are periodically added to the data and information available through the Notify Service. The Legislature may make improvements and/or changes to the data and information available through the Notify Service at any time without notice. Furthermore, the Legislature may discontinue, limit, modify, restrict access to, or suspend the Notify Service at any time without notice.

CHOICE OF LAW

Construction of the terms, conditions, and disclaimers above and resolution of disputes thereof are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. The laws of the State of Wisconsin, United States of America, shall apply to all uses of this data and information, and this system. The Notify Service and the data and information provided by it originate from computer systems located within the State of Wisconsin. The Notify Service exists for the use and benefit of the Legislature and the general public. Any person or entity who uses the Notify Service or attempts to access the Legislature's computer system is subject to the jurisdiction of the State of Wisconsin. By use of this system and any data and information contained herein, you agree that your use shall conform to all applicable laws and regulations and that you shall not violate the rights of any third parties.
